tonic
0% ABV
Tonic is an ambiguous term implies a beverage taken for medicinal or restorative purposes. Origins of the term are inherently pre-scientific or pseudo-scientific, and at odds with contemporary Western medicine, and the popularity of the term has fallen, accordingly, since the late 19th Century. Today, when people talk about tonic, they’re usually referring to tonic water (quinine-infused soda water), which was itself once a “tonic”.
