Fruit nectar is a generic category for canned or bottled preparations of water, juice, fruit pulp and sweetener. Used in drinks where the plain juice of the fruit, either fresh or canned, isn’t really feasible and where additional sweetening is desired. Better results can generally be achieved by purchasing frozen pulp and adding your own water and sugar.
