Also known as “Jack Daniels White Label”. Proprietary tennessee whiskey—a lighter expression of Jack Daniels’ best-known whiskey, achieved by selecting barrels from cooler parts of the warehouses and bottled at lower ABV. Tennessee whiskey is a generic category for U.S. single-malt whiskey distilled from predominately corn mash with wheat or rye and filtered through charcoal. The charcoal filtering is principally what distinguishes Tennessee whiskey from bourbon. Jack Daniels and George Dickel are currently produced brands of Tennessee whiskey.
