V8 Vegetable Juice
Also known as “Vege-min 8”,“V-8”,“V8”. Proprietary canned/bottled beverage consisting of water, tomato concentrate, and a blended mix of beets, celery, carrots, lettuce, parsely, watercress and spinach. And considerable sodium. Developed in the 1930s and originally sold as Vege-min 8. Vegetable juices is a generic category for a beverage of blended, filtered vegetables, usually with seasoning. Bottled commercial vegetable juices are ubiquitous to the point of almost being expected, although freshly-prepared juices are nearly always superior.
