anise syrup
Also known as “anisette syrup”. Anise syrup is a simple syrup infused with anise. ======== Place in a sauce pan: 2 tbsp aniseseed Toast briefly until aromatic. Add: 250 g water 250 g sugar Heat to a simmer. Stir to dissolve. Lower heat and cover. Cook a few minutes. Shut off the heat and leave for at least 2 hours. Strain and bottle. Store in the refrigerator. ========
