Calpico

Also known as “Calpis”. Proprietary lacto-fermented concentrated bottled soft drink comprised of water, dehydrated milk and lactic acid. Not carbonated. Not to be confused with the pre-diluted Calpis Water or Calpis Soda products. Commonly used to flavor Japanese kakigōri (shaved ice dessert). Non-alcoholic mixers & dilutants is an abstract category for liquids whose primary function is to dilute a mixed drink; often these ingredients are actually the largest ingredient of the drink by volume, with the alcoholic components playing a flavoring role.
