Also known as “rooster sauce”. Proprietary prepared hot sauce condiment produced in the United States by Huy Fong Foods after the style of a Thai condiment/dipping sauce of the same name. Hot sauce is a generic category for condiment sauces made from chile peppers and other ingredients, usually in a vinegar base. Sauces vary extensively in ingredients, concentration, flavor, color and heat.
