yellow gin

40% ABVUnited States

Also known as “aged gin”. Yellow gin is a generic category for oak-aged, straw-hued London dry gin. The aging of London dry gins is uncommon, although in the 19th Century and earlier, before bottling at the distillery was common, most gin was effectively (slightly) wood-aged from being stored and transported in wood barrels, and most gin was pale yellow or straw-colored as a result.
