Also known as “prunelle”,“Prunella”. Crème de prunelle is generic for a liqueur flavored—principally, but not necessarily exclusively—with the pits of sloe berries. The result is akin to Crème de Noyaux or Amaretto. Examples vary widely in color, from clear to dark, as well as in other details.
