rhine wine
13% ABVGermany
Rhine wine is generic for wine (predominantly white, usually a bit sweet, often fruity) produced in or near the Rhine river valley in Germany. Historically, wines produced elsewhere in this style were also christened with the name. Assume a dry or off-dry (white) Riesling unless the context suggests red, in which case a German pinot noir.
