Also known as “peach pit”. The apricot kernel is the relatively soft, nutty kernel inside the hard wooden shell of the peach pit. Peach kernels can be eaten or infused. Note that the average peach kernel contains a small quantity of cyanide and so should not be consumed by the handful.
