A “monkey stick” is referenced in at least one recipe in Stan Jones’ Complete Barguide: the CHIMP IN ORBIT. We presume it to be variant of the “fruit stick” garnish: perhaps a skewer with a piece of banana and a Maraschino cherry on the end of it?
