Jack Daniels Sinatra

45% ABVJack DanielsUnited States

Proprietary Tennessee whiskey; employs a modified barrel aging strategy over conventional Jack Daniels where the interior of the barrel is scored (“grooved”) to increase the surface area. Typically available only in the travel market (airport dury free). The Frank Sinatra reference pertains to the Rat Pack’s instrumentality in popularizing Jack Daniels in the 1960s. Tennessee whiskey is a generic category for U.S. single-malt whiskey distilled from predominately corn mash with wheat or rye and filtered through charcoal. The charcoal filtering is principally what distinguishes Tennessee whiskey from bourbon. Jack Daniels and George Dickel are currently produced brands of Tennessee whiskey.
