Black pepper-infused simple syrup is generic for a simple extraction of black peppercorns in simple syrup. To produce, combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup crushed peppercorns in a sauce pan, heat to a boil, remove from heat and infuse to taste. Strain, bottle and refrigerate.
