Don’s Gardenia Mix

Also known as “coffee grog mix”. Don’s Gardenia Mix is a home-made preparation used in tropical drinks, notably the Pearl Diver and Coffee Grog. Originally one of Don the Beachcomber’s various secret house ingredients, the recipe was decoded by Jeff “Beachbum” Berry and published in his book “Sippin’ Safari” (San Jose: Club Tiki Press, 2007). ======== Cream 1 oz softened unsalted butter, 1 oz honey, 1 tsp cinnamon-infused sugar syrup, 1/2 tsp vanilla syrup and 1/2 tsp pimento liqueur. ========
