Medicinal “food supplement” subtitled “Spirit with Horse Penis Extract”. The ingredients list both “horse penis” and “horse meat”, while otherwise resembling a bitter herbal tonic. Labeling features various patent medicine claims. Packaged in a cardboard tube along with a red paper “shirt” that fits over the bottle. Non-beverage concentrates is an abstract category for liquids, semi-liquids and dissoluble solids whose primary purpose in mixed drinks is to introduce flavor (or other characteristics) without dramatically diluting the drink. Most of these items crossed to the bar from the kitchen larder.
