Saline solution is a homemade preparation of water with salt dissolved in it. Used in minute quantities to amplify flavors in mixed drinks. To make, add sea salt/kosher salt to filtered water and stir to dissolve. The ratio of salt to water depends on your preferences and purposes, but 3 grams of salt per fluid cup of water is a starting place.
